Compared to previous versions, the August 2022 Zalo update introduces several new features:
- Strangers (those not yet your friends) won't be able to view or comment on your diary posts. This enhances your privacy and avoids unwanted disturbances.
- When someone searches for you by phone number, your account will be shown a maximum of 40 times per month.
- Each account can only respond to a maximum of 40 conversation requests from strangers. If you exceed this limit, you can still read messages from strangers but won't be able to reply to them.
- Each account can only have a maximum of 1,000 friends. Once this limit is reached, you won't be able to send or accept friend requests.
- Regular accounts won't be able to use usernames and can only create a maximum of 5 quick messages.
