Latest official price of Yamaha R15 V4 in Vietnam

Today, Yamaha has officially introduced the YZF-R15 V4 to the Vietnamese market with the following price tags for each version:
– Standard R15 V4: priced at 78 million Vietnamese dong
– R15M: priced from 86 to 87 million Vietnamese dong
Compared to the R15 V3, the official price of R15 V4 in Vietnam is approximately 8 million dong higher. This price point is considered reasonable given the upgrades the bike has received.
The Yamaha R15 V4 sportbike is making waves with its technological and aesthetic enhancements, causing quite a stir among the biking community. It's hailed as the standout model in the small sportbike segment.
Information suggests that this sportbike is yet to be officially sold in Vietnam, only available in a few markets like India, Thailand, and Indonesia. However, there are indications that the Yamaha R15 V4 will soon be introduced in Vietnam through Revzone Yamaha – the official distributor of Yamaha motorcycles – in September. Notably, not only the standard Yamaha R15 V4 but also the potent variant, Yamaha R15M, will be imported to Vietnam.

Below are the reference prices of Yamaha R15 V4 currently being sold in the Asian market:
– In India:
Standard version of Yamaha R15 V4: 52 million dong.
Yamaha R15M version: 55.5 million dong.
– In Indonesia:
Standard version of Yamaha R15 V4: 58.2 million dong.
Yamaha R15M version: 68.8 million dong.
– In Thailand:
Standard version of Yamaha R15 V4: 78.8 million dong.
Yamaha R15M version: 92.5 million dong.
Therefore, it can be speculated that the official selling price of Yamaha R15 V4 in Vietnam will range somewhere between 80 and 90 million dong.
Recently, there have been numerous rumors suggesting that Yamaha employees have allowed customers to place deposits for purchasing the R15 V4 at 75 million dong for the standard version and 80 million dong for the R15M version. However, these are merely speculations, and we will provide updates as soon as the bike is officially sold in Vietnam.
Review of the newly launched Yamaha R15 V4
– Design of Yamaha R15 V4
The Yamaha R15 V4 inherits many design elements from its predecessor, the R7, and also shares some similarities with Yamaha's MT series naked bikes. Compared to the previous R15 V3, this latest version has undergone subtle exterior changes.
Right from the front, the bike impresses with bold, angular lines, a centrally positioned LED headlight, and LED daytime running lights characteristic of Yamaha's R-Series.

The body of the R15 V4 features numerous aerodynamic details, ensuring stability at high speeds, a hallmark of sport bikes. The rear end of the bike remains largely unchanged from the R15 V3.
The overall dimensions of the Yamaha R15 V4 are 1,990mm x 725mm x 1,135mm, with a seat height of 815mm and a lightweight of 137kg. Overall, the compact sporty appearance of the R15 V4 is both aggressive and powerful, comparable to larger displacement motorcycles.
– Features of Yamaha R15 V4
Upon its release, the Yamaha R15 V4 was hailed as one of the most technologically advanced bikes in its segment. Firstly, it features a modern LED lighting system. Additionally, it comes with a monochrome LCD display with two modes: Track Mode (displaying fastest lap time and last lap time) and Street Mode (showing additional parameters such as coolant temperature, phone battery level, and average speed). Moreover, the Yamaha R15 V4 dashboard is capable of connecting to a smartphone.

Of particular interest to many riders is the 2-channel ABS braking system, now a reality on the Yamaha R15 V4. The front tire size is 100/80-17 52P, while the rear tire is 140/70-17 66S. The new R15 V4 features a 37mm USD inverted front fork.
In addition, the Yamaha R15 V4 boasts modern technologies such as Quickshifter for rapid gear shifts (available on the GP and R15M variants), and Traction Control system with automatic shutdown feature, among others.

– Engine of Yamaha R15 V4
Positioned in the small displacement segment, the Yamaha R15 V4 engine still utilizes a single-cylinder configuration with a displacement of 155cc, incorporating Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology similar to its predecessor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 18.1 horsepower and a peak torque of 14.2 Nm. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.
