1. What to do when there are lines on the TV screen
Lines on the screen (horizontal/vertical, streaks)
Your TV may be experiencing a problem. Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
- Restart the TV and check if the issue is resolved.
- Turn off the TV and unplug the AC power cord.
- Leave the TV unplugged for 2 minutes.
- Plug in the AC power cord and turn on the TV to check its status.
- If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the product may require repair.
Troubleshooting when there are no issues on the menu screen
- If this issue occurs only on a specific channel or program, it might be due to the broadcast signal source. Please contact your service provider for more information.
- If you encounter issues when connecting your TV and Audio/Video devices via analog cable (composite or component) or HDMI cable
- Turn off all electrical devices or battery-operated devices that may be causing radio frequency interference (RF).
- If using an antenna, the broadcast signal may be reflected by nearby hills or tall buildings, causing image blur.
Adjust the direction and position of the antenna. - Try plugging the power cord into a different outlet and/or surge protector.
