Eating nutrient-rich foods and staying hydrated can provide essential nutrients to the body, helping to prevent dehydration and speed up the recovery process.
Here are some foods and drinks that may support prevention and treatment.

Chicken and Perilla Leaf Congee
Benefits: May help reduce inflammation, expedite body recovery; alleviate nasal congestion, ease mild upper respiratory symptoms; nutritious, easy to digest, simple to prepare, and hydrating.
Ingredients (for 4 servings): 100g jasmine rice; 30g glutinous rice; 20g green beans; 1/2 chicken; dried shallots, scallions, perilla leaves, ginger, seasoning, fish sauce, pepper.
Cooking method: Rinse the rice and beans; wash and finely chop the shallots and perilla leaves; lightly roast the dried shallots, peel and thinly slice the ginger. Clean the chicken, boil until cooked, then shred into small pieces.
Put rice and beans in a pot with water, add the chicken to simmer with the bones, roasted shallots. When the rice is soft, remove the bones. Add the shredded chicken into the pot, bring to a boil over slightly higher heat, season to taste, sprinkle chopped shallots and perilla leaves, mix well, turn off the heat. Serve in a bowl, garnish with pepper and thinly sliced ginger, and serve hot.
