This new feature was discovered and shared by the WABetaInfo account on Twitter.
'Finally, WhatsApp has tested the Delete for Everyone feature: the end server is finally operational and successfully recalling messages. Furthermore, if the server is not operational, it means that this feature on WhatsApp is activated and will be remotely activated.'
With the server activation move, it's possible to anticipate the integration of this feature for WhatsApp users soon.
In other tweets, it's also revealed that WhatsApp will remove messages from notifications on both Android and iOS devices.
Currently, there's no information disclosing when the company will roll out this feature to all users. The latest feature tested, picture-in-picture for video calls back in late July, is also now available for all Android 8.0 users at the beginning of this month.
