Specifically, public servants and employees will have a continuous 5-day Tet holiday from Monday (31-1-2022) to the end of Friday (4-2-2022), which means from the 29th day of the 12th month of the Year of the Ox to the end of the 4th day of the 1st month of the Year of the Tiger. MOLISA explains that the arrangement ensures a balanced break before and after Tet.
During the Lunar New Year 2022, labor users can opt for 1 day before Tet and 4 days after Tet, or 2 days before Tet and 3 days after Tet. The Lunar New Year break plan must be communicated to the labor force at least 30 days in advance.
