1. Quang Ninh Museum – 'Miniature Quang Ninh' by Ha Long Bay
Actually, in the minds of many, museums are often perceived as somewhat dry places to briefly visit, observe, and then move on. However, that perception couldn't be further from the truth with the Quang Ninh Museum and Library. It's much more interesting and engaging than one might think!
The Quang Ninh Museum and Library is a unique architectural masterpiece. Just from the outside, many young visitors are already exclaiming 'wow!' The grand staircase, the dark glass panels resembling a giant mirror reflecting the image of the Ha Long Bay sky, and the impressive font displaying the museum's name are enough to prompt a photoshoot.
Stepping inside, one can't help but be amazed by the spaciousness. With three floors, the Quang Ninh Museum offers the most comprehensive view for visitors about the region's nature and its people.
The first floor is dedicated to the sea and nature. The second floor exhibits historical relics spanning from prehistoric times to modern eras, including resistance against the French and the Americans, and the cultural and spiritual space of Yen Tu. As for the third floor, it unveils the geological history of coal mining along with images depicting the entire history of the coal mining industry from ancient times to the present day.
Despite being a museum, everything from the presentation, design, layout, and color scheme is exceptionally modern and perfect for attracting young visitors. Accompanying this is the beautiful and spacious environment, never lacking in natural light.
The museum is open on weekdays, except Monday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The ticket price for museum admission is 30,000 VND per person for adults; 15,000 VND per person for students; and 10,000 VND per person for children.

3. Admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay on the giant ferris wheel
I vividly recall the excitement surrounding the completion of the Queen's Cable Car system, capable of carrying 230 people, and the Sun Wheel, both of which sparked immense curiosity among tourists.
The Queen's Cable Car spans the gateway of Cua Luc Bay, connecting from Bai Chay Beach to Ba Deo (Hon Gai, Ha Long City). If you find yourself on this cable car system, you'll be mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay from above. Whether day or night, the view you experience directly is absolutely stunning!
Perched atop Ba Deo Hill, the Sun Wheel is the second-largest Ferris wheel in Vietnam and one of the world's top Ferris wheels. Here, you'll gaze upon Ha Long Bay from a height of 215 meters above sea level! Capturing in your eyes the vast, majestic, and incredibly beautiful images of Ha Long Bay will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.
They say, the higher you go, the more beautiful and mystical things become. This holds true when enjoying the beauty of nature in Quang Ninh with the Sun Wheel. Each cabin has a maximum capacity of 6 people with a rotation time of about 15-20 minutes. Ticket prices per passenger are 300,000 Vietnamese Dong, 200,000 Vietnamese Dong for children under 1.3 meters tall, and free for children under 1 meter tall. This is the all-inclusive ticket price for both the cable car, the Sun Wheel, and the amusement area on Ba Deo Hill.
During the night, sitting inside the cabin of the Ferris wheel gazing at the entire city immersed in lights is also a fascinating experience. At night, the sparkling lights from this Ferris wheel along with the lighting system on Bai Chay Bridge will surely make the painting of Ha Long City more mystical and appealing.
