Thinking of Quang Ninh means thinking of Ha Long Bay. However, besides exploring the bay, right within the city, there are also some incredibly fun stops that perfectly suit the taste of the young generation.
When visiting Quang Ninh, besides exploring Ha Long Bay, the city itself offers plenty of exciting new entertainment spots perfect for the young and adventurous!
Many when mentioning Quang Ninh will simply think of it as a place where nature has generously bestowed awe-inspiring landscapes that leave the world in admiration. However, it's not just that; Ha Long City, Quang Ninh, is also an ideal destination for fun activities, exploration, and relaxation, rivaling any other tourist city.
If you want to learn more about this place, visit 'Mini Quang Ninh' within the unique museum by Ha Long Bay. Or head to the largest theme park in Southeast Asia - Dragon Park at Sun World Group Park, offering over 30 thrilling rides with international safety standards, providing an ideal playground for unlimited fun. Additionally, experience the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay from a height of 215m on the Sun Wheel - one of the largest ferris wheels in the world.
Another fantastic and must-try experience in Quang Ninh is... lounging and enjoying the cool sea breeze and spectacular scenery aboard a yacht in Ha Long Bay!
1. Quang Ninh Museum – 'Miniature Quang Ninh' by Ha Long Bay
Actually, in the minds of many, museums are often perceived as somewhat dry places to briefly visit, observe, and then move on. However, that perception couldn't be further from the truth with the Quang Ninh Museum and Library. It's much more interesting and engaging than one might think!
The Quang Ninh Museum and Library is a unique architectural masterpiece. Just from the outside, many young visitors are already exclaiming 'wow!' The grand staircase, the dark glass panels resembling a giant mirror reflecting the image of the Ha Long Bay sky, and the impressive font displaying the museum's name are enough to prompt a photoshoot.

Stepping inside, one can't help but be amazed by the spaciousness. With three floors, the Quang Ninh Museum offers the most comprehensive view for visitors about the region's nature and its people.

The first floor is dedicated to the sea and nature. The second floor exhibits historical relics spanning from prehistoric times to modern eras, including resistance against the French and the Americans, and the cultural and spiritual space of Yen Tu. As for the third floor, it unveils the geological history of coal mining along with images depicting the entire history of the coal mining industry from ancient times to the present day.

Despite being a museum, everything from the presentation, design, layout, and color scheme is exceptionally modern and perfect for attracting young visitors. Accompanying this is the beautiful and spacious environment, never lacking in natural light.

The museum is open on weekdays, except Monday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The ticket price for museum admission is 30,000 VND per person for adults; 15,000 VND per person for students; and 10,000 VND per person for children.
2. Experience over 30 thrilling rides at Dragon Park
If you're into crowds, fun, exploration, and seeking thrills, then Dragon Park is the place to be. It guarantees an unforgettable amusement experience comparable to any other amusement park out there! It's the largest theme park in Southeast Asia, after all!

People often think theme parks are just for kids, but not Dragon Park. As long as you want to have fun and create unforgettable moments, anyone can come here! Dragon Park, part of the Sun World Group Park complex, offers over 30 rides of all kinds, from super thrilling ones that provide a sense of conquering to familiar childhood favorites. There's the 'Speedy Dragon' with a 1.1km track, the 'Raging Rhino' spinning players around on horns before dropping them at 65km/h, and a magnificent carousel system.

Everything is intricately designed, visually stunning, and undoubtedly safe! All rides are imported and meet European standards, ensuring safety and completeness in the experience. Moreover, the space here is incredibly fascinating and impressive.

3. Admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay on the giant ferris wheel
I vividly recall the excitement surrounding the completion of the Queen's Cable Car system, capable of carrying 230 people, and the Sun Wheel, both of which sparked immense curiosity among tourists.
The Queen's Cable Car spans the gateway of Cua Luc Bay, connecting from Bai Chay Beach to Ba Deo (Hon Gai, Ha Long City). If you find yourself on this cable car system, you'll be mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay from above. Whether day or night, the view you experience directly is absolutely stunning!
Perched atop Ba Deo Hill, the Sun Wheel is the second-largest Ferris wheel in Vietnam and one of the world's top Ferris wheels. Here, you'll gaze upon Ha Long Bay from a height of 215 meters above sea level! Capturing in your eyes the vast, majestic, and incredibly beautiful images of Ha Long Bay will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.

They say, the higher you go, the more beautiful and mystical things become. This holds true when enjoying the beauty of nature in Quang Ninh with the Sun Wheel. Each cabin has a maximum capacity of 6 people with a rotation time of about 15-20 minutes. Ticket prices per passenger are 300,000 Vietnamese Dong, 200,000 Vietnamese Dong for children under 1.3 meters tall, and free for children under 1 meter tall. This is the all-inclusive ticket price for both the cable car, the Sun Wheel, and the amusement area on Ba Deo Hill.

During the night, sitting inside the cabin of the Ferris wheel gazing at the entire city immersed in lights is also a fascinating experience. At night, the sparkling lights from this Ferris wheel along with the lighting system on Bai Chay Bridge will surely make the painting of Ha Long City more mystical and appealing.

4. Sleeping in a Hanging Nest on a Cruise Ship
Indeed, it's the 'hanging nest' sleeping on a cruise ship. This will surely be on the list of must-do activities when visiting Quang Ninh!

Just like film director Kong - Jordan Vogt Robert once shared: 'I've never felt happier and more comfortable than when I just slept here, guys. Awesome! Come here and sleep!'
