(Motherland) - Following its remarkable success in 2023, gaming giant Capcom intends to launch a new title early next year.
In its latest financial report, Capcom took the opportunity to recap the success of projects launched since the beginning of the year. Additionally, the publisher is outlining goals for the remainder of the year and into the new one.
Among these successes, the standout title is Street Fighter 6 - the hottest product from the company. Since its release in June, the game has sold 2.47 million copies. Within the same timeframe, Resident Evil 4 Remake has sold an additional 1.66 million copies, bringing the total sales to 5.46 million since its launch in March. This achievement solidifies the Resident Evil franchise's total sales at 150 million copies.

Also mentioned here, Capcom is brewing plans to launch another major title, expected to be announced before March 2024. As soon as this was hinted at, netizens speculated that the new 'darling' project could potentially be related to one of the company's two biggest franchises, Resident Evil or Monster Hunter.
