Non-stop toll (ETC) is an automated toll collection method using technology to recognize vehicles passing through and deduct money from the traffic account. Currently, the Ministry of Transport has regulations on automatic toll card application from two companies: VETC Automatic Toll Collection Co., Ltd., and Vietnam Digital Traffic Joint Stock Company.

Regarding fees, VETC currently provides free card application and account activation for first-time users. For cases where you already have a card but it's damaged, torn, VETC applies a reissuance fee of 120,000 VND/time.

VDTC, a subsidiary of the Military Telecommunications Group Viettel, is the investor of the ePass identification card.
Vehicle owners can obtain the non-stop toll ePass through various methods:
Register online through the ePass app or website, and VDTC staff will come for home installation
Apply for a card at Viettel Store or Viettel Post offices nationwide
Install the non-stop toll ePass at VDTC-managed toll booths

Similar to the E-tag card, the first-time installation of ePass is free. For subsequent installations, customers need to pay a fee of 120,000 VND/time.
