The OPPO Find N2 Flip is a vertically folding phone with a significantly large outer screen in today's market, measuring 3.26 inches. More importantly, OPPO positions it vertically rather than horizontally like the Galaxy Z Flip4 or other foldable phones. So why? For phones with outer screens in landscape orientation, folding them requires us to adjust our usage posture. Moreover, with cameras and sensors oriented vertically, filming vertically becomes somewhat challenging when the outer screen is in landscape mode. The OPPO Find N2 Flip, when folded, is already a compact phone, so responding to messages quickly without opening the screen is a significant convenience. Additionally, the large outer screen aids in displaying more notifications simultaneously, ensuring swift updates.

This is why I believe it's most suitable to utilize the outer screen of the Find N2 Flip for photography. When taking photos with a foldable phone in general, we can fully utilize the rear camera to capture images and record videos of much better quality compared to the selfie camera. Leveraging the outer screen effectively would make it even better.
With OPPO, the company offers users three quick options on the secondary screen, including portrait mode, background blur, and video recording. On the main inner screen, users can also preview their shots.
When might this be useful? When taking photos for a girlfriend, family member, or anyone who wants to see if they look okay before snapping, then this method can be handy. It allows for both the display of the secondary screen and the main inner screen. Users can preview the shot before taking it, and the subject can also check their appearance before the photo is captured.Another scenario is for those filming TikToks or Reels. They can use this screen as a preview for their shots instead of recording blindly and then reviewing. The Find N2 Flip enables them to preview shots beforehand, even while recording, saving time if adjustments are needed.Customize for endless fun

Above are some reasons why OPPO opted for an external vertical secondary screen for the Find N2 Flip. Besides creating differentiation, I personally prefer this vertical screen orientation over horizontal because it's more convenient to use in various situations.
