1. What is Cydia?
Cydia is an application designed specifically for the IOS operating system that has been jailbroken to allow you to download and install additional applications from third parties (not available in the AppStore) or to download and install applications that can deeply intervene in your device's system, which will never be available on the AppStore.
2. Why doesn't my iPhone have Cydia?
Only jailbroken devices can install Cydia. During the jailbreaking process, there will be an option to install Cydia on your device. You cannot download Cydia from the AppStore or any other way if your device is not jailbroken.

3. Installing apps through Cydia vs. AppStore - What's the difference?
You can easily download and install apps from the AppStore as long as you have an Apple account. Removing apps is also straightforward with just a few taps on your device's home screen. However, with Cydia, you need to carefully check the app information you intend to install, ensuring its compatibility with your device's operating system. Otherwise, it could lead to issues like device freezing, crashing, or impacting normal usage.
4. Do I have to install apps from Cydia once it's installed?
Cydia only provides additional apps not found in the AppStore. You can still download apps from the AppStore without any issues.
You can also download apps that deeply enhance your device's system, such as: apps that change the device's interface (WinterBoard, DreamBoard), add useful features to SMS (biteSMS), block calls or messages (iBlackList), delete call logs (CallClear, MobiLog), and more. These apps are not available on the AppStore.
5. Can I freely install other apps just by jailbreaking and installing Cydia?
After installing Cydia, you may find some apps readily available. However, other apps require you to add a source before you can download them.

Cydia Sources are repositories providing various software, utilities, etc., for Cydia users. Cydia comes with some default sources added, but you should also add a few Vietnamese sources like cydia or iPhone.qms to download apps suitable for you.
