Samsung plans to launch the foldable smartphone duo, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, in the upcoming months.
The South Korean company typically holds Unpacked events for its Galaxy Z lineup in August. Now, a recent report from Chosun suggests that Samsung will introduce Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 on 7/26 in Seoul. This information appears consistent with a previous leak indicating that the Galaxy Z 2023 series might arrive earlier, by the end of July.

According to leaked images, the Galaxy Z Flip5 will see an upgrade to its external display, reaching a size of 3.4 inches, and will feature a unique clamshell design. Samsung's new foldable smartphones are also rumored to adopt a new waterdrop hinge, minimizing creases on the screen and eliminating gaps when folded.
Speaking of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, it will boast a 7.6-inch foldable display. The phone's external screen is expected to measure 6.2 inches. Samsung will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset for its new generation of Galaxy Z phones. These were recently spotted on the 3C certification agency with 25W fast charging.
In terms of photography capabilities, Galaxy Z Flip5 will feature a dual-camera system on the rear. However, some rumors suggest that this phone will sport a primary 50MP camera. On the other hand, Galaxy Z Fold5 will come with a triple rear camera setup consisting of 50MP + 12MP + 10MP resolutions.
