The latest update of Windows 11 is causing blue screen errors on MSI motherboards.
Microsoft released a new update (KB5029351) for Windows 11 earlier this month. However, some users with MSI motherboards have reported encountering blue screen issues after the update.

The error, named UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR, seems to be related to Intel 600 and 700 series motherboards from MSI. As a precaution, MSI recommends users to avoid the update if not already installed.
According to MSI, in case of this issue, the new update can automatically uninstall to restore Windows to normal. If KB5029351 is not uninstalled automatically, users should manually uninstall it to ensure their computers can resume normal operation.

Currently, both MSI and Microsoft are actively investigating the cause, but it is unclear when the two companies will release the final fix. In the meantime, MSI motherboard users should pause Windows 11 operating system updates.
Hence, users should verify their motherboard type before downloading the KB5029351 update. If your computer is equipped with an MSI motherboard, check whether it belongs to the Intel 600 and 700 series.
