As days pass, the evidence supporting Windows 11's October release grows. Even the post on Microsoft's Windows Hardware Compatibility Program (WHCP) blog hints at this possibility.
Windows 11 Hinting at October 2021 Launch
As per Mytour's information, Microsoft published this article in June titled 'Now Accepting Submissions for Windows 11, version 21H2.' Essentially, it seems the software giant has requested all OEMs to submit drivers compatible with the Windows 11 21H2 update before 'September 24, 2021.'

This implies that Windows 11 could indeed launch in October. When queried, Microsoft clarified in the comments section that the Windows Hardware Certification submission requirement is specifically for Windows 11 21H1 and unrelated to Windows 10 21H1.
Furthermore, Microsoft's official marketing materials subtly hint at a release date falling on October 20. On most press release images about Microsoft's Windows 11, the taskbar clock displays the date 20/10 at 11:11 AM. Another marketing image also shows the date 6/10.
Aligning with Microsoft's cues, Walmart also commits to a 'Free Windows Upgrade in October 2021 when available' on select laptops they currently sell. Microsoft has pledged to provide Windows 11 as a 'free upgrade for eligible Windows 10 PCs and new PCs starting this holiday season,' so Walmart seems to be referring to the Windows 11 release in October.
