Following the Fluent Design interface update for the Messaging app, Microsoft has initiated the rollout of this interface update to the Windows Camera app for Insider users.

- Resolution options: Users can now choose from multiple resolutions.
- Manual focus: A new Manual focus option is now available on the toolbar for users to adjust the camera focus according to their preference.
- The last used camera will be remembered.
- Improved brightness slider: The brightness slider is smoother and displays the actual brightness value chosen by the user.
- The capture button can no longer be rotated between scenes (photo, video) by tapping on it.
- Users can now use all connected cameras concurrently (if the operating system allows) across different app windows.
- Phasing out support for older devices: This new update is not available for older mobile devices.
