Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 has been enhanced with Advanced Networking support, allowing apps to access local devices for ARM hardware. This means existing apps can now leverage this functionality. Additionally, Microsoft is also adding support for 2 new features: IPv6 and VPN connections. These new features of Windows Subsystem for Android are now available to all users.

Additionally, some other notable additions include improvements to the dedicated Settings app of WSA.
Below is the full release note of the WSA update on Windows 11 July 2022:
- Activate Advanced Networking feature, granting app access to local network devices for ARM hardware.
- Virtual machine IP address updated, similar to server / computer IP address.
- Fix issues when zooming in or changing size.
- Fix mouse / trackpad scrolling issue in apps.
- As part of the privacy update, the new WSA update does not support screenshotting windows marked as secure.
This includes in incognito mode on Chrome.
- Improve browser startup performance.
- Enable Doze Mode and App Standby support.
- Update to Chromium WebView 101.
- Fix app screen flickering and graphics glitches, video playback issues, network connection problems, ... .
- Improve video playback in apps and add AV1 Codec support.
- Enable VPN and IPv6 connections.
- Fix video playback issues including errors that may prevent Windows screen from turning off.

Despite some issues, the glitches have been resolved in the July 2022 update. However, there still exist some other issues, such as a bug that may cause certain VPNs not to function with Advanced Networking. To address this issue, users can disable Advanced Networking within the Settings application.
