1. Wireless Surround Soundbar Speaker
The HW-Q950A is a high-end soundbar introduced this year alongside the Neo QLED TV generation. Compared to the predecessor's 9.1.4 channels, this product upgrades to 11.1.4 channels, making it the first soundbar equipped with this feature. Additional speaker channels are added on both sides of the main soundbar, enhancing the surround sound experience. An HW-950A soundbar includes a main speaker unit, two satellite speakers, and a large subwoofer.
The speaker is relatively large, measuring 1.23 meters. In the image, the HW-950A is placed next to a 65-inch QN900A model TV. The weight of the speaker includes 7.1 kg for the main speaker, 1.8 kg for the satellite speakers, and 9.8 kg for the subwoofer.
On the main speaker unit, there is a small status display screen, along with volume control buttons and speaker mode adjustments. The Tap Sound feature allows the phone to automatically connect and play through the speaker with just a touch. The new-generation product supports Apple device connections with AirPlay 2.
For TV connectivity, the speaker connects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. When used with a Samsung TV, the Q-Symphony technology utilizes the TV's built-in speaker system to enhance surround sound quality.
The main connections of the soundbar are conveniently located on the bottom edge, with the HDMI eARC port facilitating easier connections to devices like UHD players or gaming consoles.
