The game publisher Axie Infinity has taken decisive action against violating accounts to ensure a fair gaming environment.
Axie Infinity stands out as one of the hottest NFT gaming titles today, witnessing a rapid surge in account numbers with no signs of slowing down. However, like many other NFT games or even conventional ones, Axie Infinity grapples with a multitude of violating and cheating accounts. Most recently, Axie Infinity's Twitter page has shared information about the firm handling of 10,000 accounts and anticipates this number to increase.
Axie Infinity leads the way in the gaming revolution, enabling players to earn SLP tokens through gameplay. This recreational game has become a beacon of hope for thousands, providing for their livelihoods. As of September 2021, Axie Infinity boasts approximately 5.8 million registered accounts. However, 0.5% of these, equivalent to 30,000 accounts, have been banned from activity.
There are numerous reasons prompting Axie Infinity to ban an account, but the most prevalent is engaging in cheating behaviors, particularly energy abuse. Such behaviors not only violate the terms of service set by Sky Mavis but also breed unhealthy competition for resources and finances within the player community.
For banned accounts, the NFTs owned in the game will also be labeled, rendering them worthless both in-game and in the market. The duration of these labels, whether long or short, will depend on the decision of the Sky Mavis team.
This isn't the first time Sky Mavis has had to do a 'cleanup'; just last September, Axie Infinity also witnessed the departure of thousands of cheating accounts.

This game has a highly effective earning system. Players earn SLP (Smooth Love Potions) by winning matches. These tokens can be used in the game or sold to other players at a high value.
