Specifically, with the Redmi Note 10S, users will experience a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, with a refresh rate capped at 60 Hz.

Especially for avid Netflix binge-watchers like myself during the pandemic, the fact that the Redmi Note 10 Pro's screen supports HDR10 content viewing is an absolute necessity.
It enhances color display, making blockbuster movies even more thrilling to watch on this high-quality screen.

But there's one more detail, albeit small, that adds a bit more peace of mind. The Redmi Note 10 Pro's screen is made of Gorilla Glass 5, so it's somewhat more durable than Gorilla Glass 3 on the Redmi Note 10S.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro's camera surpasses expectations, front to back.

While some might argue that the screen difference isn't significant, when it comes to the camera, the Redmi Note 10 Pro outshines the Redmi Note 10S in both specifications and real-world performance.

Source: Vật VờSpecifically, the Redmi Note 10 Pro boasts a quad-camera setup on the rear, comprising 108 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP. Owning a primary camera of 108 MP is extremely impressive for a device in the mid-range segment.

Regarding the quality experience with the camera array, it's unquestionably at the top of the mid-range segment. Now, what about the Redmi Note 10S? This device also features a quad-camera system but with a slight reduction: 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.

Furthermore, the selfie camera of the Redmi Note 10 Pro is also more impressive with a 16 MP lens compared to the 13 MP selfie camera on the Redmi Note 10S.
So, we can see that the camera is significantly compromised on the Redmi Note 10S. Therefore, I advise you to always go for the Redmi Note 10 Pro to have a complete experience, especially when you need to take a lot of high-quality photos while out and about.
The processing performance of both devices is similar, but...

If we only consider processing performance, I'd say both devices are pretty much on par with each other and neither one significantly outshines the other. However, when it comes to post-support issues, that's a different story.

Because these two devices use different chipsets to power their performance. The Redmi Note 10 Pro utilizes the Snapdragon 732G chipset, while the Redmi Note 10S uses the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset.
As you all know, MediaTek chipsets are often regarded less favorably by users compared to those from Qualcomm. Despite improvements in later generations of MediaTek chipsets, there's still a gap in optimization compared to Qualcomm.

When considering factors like long-term support or application compatibility, the Snapdragon 732G is more 'user-friendly' and ensures stability with fewer unexpected issues during usage.
So, if you want to play it safe, ensuring longer-term usage, the Redmi Note 10 Pro still guarantees this for you.
With just a one-million difference, the Redmi Note 10 Pro delivers a more worthwhile experience.

So, you can see that despite the price difference between the two products not being significant at just one million, we're sacrificing quite a bit in terms of experience on the Redmi Note 10S.
And especially, these are all essential features that we as users frequently utilize. So when the price gap isn't substantial, I believe the Redmi Note 10 Pro will be a more worthwhile choice, offering long-term safety in usage.

However, if your budget doesn't allow it, I still think the Redmi Note 10S is a good option, especially in its price segment, where it still outshines competitors from other brands.
Above are the reasons why I chose to purchase the Redmi Note 10 Pro instead of the Redmi Note 10S when the difference is just one million dong.
