PES or FIFA has always been a topic of debate among gamers for many years.
Not only in Vietnam but PES and FIFA also compete globally. However, in the Vietnamese market, this debate is more visible and sometimes shows the intensity between two groups of gamers. Over the past two decades, whether PES or FIFA is the beloved football game for gamers has always been an unanswered question.
If in the early 2000s, PES almost dominated all PS2 gaming shops, since 2017, FIFA has risen as a 'dominant' name. From FIFA 17 version, this game has amazed the world with its graphics and authenticity in every move. As for PES, they still maintain their rivalry with their opponent until the eFootball 2022 version.
It's not wrong to say that in the past 2 years, PES has lost its position. Partly because of the pandemic, many gaming shops had to close, and the opportunity for PES to dominate the market was lost. Partly because the graphics and gameplay quality of this game are not as good as before.
Recently, a TikTok video claimed that “Authenticity is something PES lacks”. At the same time, the clip also compares PES with FIFA, claiming that EA's game is better and more authentic. Many argue that PES is still better in terms of gameplay than FIFA. This immediately raises the question: “Is PES better in terms of gameplay compared to FIFA Online or traditional FIFA?”
Of course, gamers always have their reasons when defending their favorite game. The debate between FIFA and PES surely still has no end in sight, unless one of these brands closes permanently.
Because with the next-gen FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 versions, this game has left many people feeling amazed.
