According to scientists after a period of research, it has been concluded that if people use water contaminated with arsenic for drinking and eating for a long time, the risk of cancer, especially skin cancer, will increase. If the water source is contaminated with arsenic at a concentration of 0.1mg/l, it will cause poisoning to the circulatory system when consumed, leading to diarrhea, food poisoning, gastric bleeding, etc. Long-term lead exposure can lead to kidney, nervous system diseases, Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite contamination can cause cyanosis, anemia, and possibly cancer.
Is traditional water filtration method reliable?
In coping with contaminated water, people have traditionally employed various methods of water filtration, notably using water filter tanks. This method involves constructing a rough filter tank within the household premises. Then, employing materials capable of removing dissolved impurities in water placed inside the tank.

Using traditional filter tanks for water filtration still has several limitations.
Water, upon entering the tank, passes through these raw materials to filter bacteria, sediment, heavy metals, undesirable chemicals, etc. Subsequently, the water flows into the tank and serves the household. However, this method cannot entirely eliminate harmful impurities, microscopic organisms, and does not provide pure water. Additionally, it incurs significant costs and requires considerable installation space, rendering it unsuitable for modern society.
