In order to materialize his passion for yachting while still in the U.S., Mr. Cao Van Nam returned to his hometown in Vinh Long to engage in eel farming and invested 5 billion VND to construct a unique yacht house.
Witness the unparalleled million-dollar yacht house in the Mekong Delta
A three-story yacht house, the most unique in the Mekong Delta, belongs to 71-year-old Mr. Cao Van Nam, residing in Binh Tinh hamlet, Hoa Tinh commune, Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province. With this unique concept, his house has attracted a large number of visitors from different provinces who come to explore and take photos.
About the design concept of the boat-shaped house, it is known that this was a desire Mr. Nam had many years ago when he lived and worked on a ship in the U.S. The time swaying on the sea left him with many memories, so when he returned to Vietnam, he nurtured the idea of building this house. And when this house was completed, it was the result of Mr. Nam's dream at the age of 71.
After nearly 2 years of construction, this unique house in the Mekong Delta has been completed, receiving admiration and awe from the local people and tourists. The house is situated on a wide water surface of nearly 400 m² with 51 concrete pillars supporting it, making the yacht house appear as if floating on the water like a boat on the sea. The total investment and construction cost for the yacht house is 5 billion VND, and a lot of effort and dedication from Mr. Nam.
This house is constructed with reinforced concrete. According to Mr. Nam, the balcony, window frames, and observation deck are made of stainless steel. The staircase entrance to the house is designed at the rear. The owner reveals that the house comprises 7 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, and a library. On top of the house, there's an observation deck to enjoy panoramic views of the two-story area approximately 3m high, where Mr. Nam plans to install telescopes for stargazing at night. The staircase base is paved with granite, presenting a remarkably clean and beautiful appearance.
Below the water surface, Mr. Nam has released 3,000 ornamental fish, including goldfish, koi fish, seven-color fish, and planted water lilies to create a cool and scenic atmosphere for this unique house.
