SofM Gains Recognition from Many LPL Fans Post Team World's Performance at Worlds 2023.
At this moment, the VCS teams' performance at the World Championship 2023 is truly beyond expectations. While GAM secured a spot in the Swiss rounds convincingly, Team Whales' two comebacks thrilled international League of Legends fans. Team Whales' achievements become even more impressive with 3 out of 5 members experiencing their first Worlds.

Not only the players, but Team World's success also owes much to the coaching staff, led by Head Coach Yuna, one of the most seasoned coaches in the VCS. Additionally, Team World has a special advisor - SofM. As mentioned earlier, SofM, the former head coach of the Vietnamese League of Legends team at ASIAD, brings his expertise to Team World, consisting of 3 members from Team Whales and 3 from GAM.

Certainly, SofM's advisory role respects Team World's long-established coaching staff. SofM himself acknowledges the credit goes to Team World's members, and his role is advisory without influencing the team's competitive aspects. However, this is more than enough for LPL fans. In a recent post about SofM hanging out with BLG players, numerous LPL fans have sent 'pleas,' hoping SofM could 'part-time' with BLG throughout the Worlds 2023 tournament.

- I say SofM is done with Korea; why not discuss joining BLG part-time, SofM? I think you're excellent at pick-ban strategies.
- Come back soon, SofM! We eagerly anticipate your role as a coach.
- Let SofM13 stay behind. He brings a wealth of experience at Worlds, with smart pick-ban strategies and excellent Jungle skills. He's also close with many team members. Help convey the message to SofM!!!

Certainly, at this moment, SofM might only engage in casual conversations with familiar players like Bin or ON and may not interfere with BLG's professional matters. But who knows, in the near future, SofM could join a VCS team or even LPL to kickstart his coaching career.
