A small boat embarks on a journey to take us to a charming eatery nestled amidst the vast expanse of water, allowing us to indulge in local cuisine and admire the beautiful sunset over the dreamy landscape of Hue.
Exploring the Golden Sunset over Chuon Lagoon in Hue
As the clock strikes past 3 PM, the once quiet winding roads suddenly bustle with activity. Upon reaching An Thuyen village, Phu An commune, Phu Vang district (Thua Thien – Hue), also known as Chuon village (less than 10 km from Hue city), eateries start appearing one after another, where visitors can randomly choose one and then be taken to the boat dock. Each eatery here has its own boats to ferry their guests to the eateries located in the middle of the vast water.
The eateries are constructed from sturdy interwoven bamboo poles, standing firm amidst the vast expanse of water. Visitors choose a corner of the eatery to gather, enjoying fresh seafood dishes and admiring the setting sun gently descending upon the shimmering surface of the lagoon.

As the sun gradually sets, the water surface of the lagoon becomes enchantingly luminous. Boaters glide through the gentle ripples, their oars casting ethereal shadows under the red and golden hues of the sun.
The golden hues of the sun's rays on the lagoon gradually shift to red and disappear in the distance, leaving travelers with a sense of regret whenever they visit the land of vast lagoons.

A group of friends had prepared a smartphone on a selfie stick, waiting for the sun to set to capture the scene with the sunset as the backdrop. As the sun emerged from the clouds, the camera clicked continuously. Upon reviewing the photo, the person holding the camera remained silent with a slight shake of the head, indicating they had missed capturing a beautiful moment at the lagoon.
After selecting their dishes, guests, along with the restaurant staff, head to the tanks filled with various seafood such as fish, crabs, etc., and personally choose their selections. After a few minutes of preparation, the dishes are laid out on the table. The food is not heavily seasoned or intricately decorated, but perhaps it's this simplicity that makes diners feel the authentic charm of the countryside.

As the sun sets, lights gradually illuminate under the lagoon's surface, emanating from small boats, creating a sparkling spectacle. Sitting at the eatery, diners leisurely enjoy their meals, accompanied by soft lyrics strummed on a guitar...
