What does the October update of World of Warships: Legends entail?
In the latest update, agile Italian cruisers have joined the World of Warships: Legends fleet, exiting the Early Access phase with a notable addition. Previously, Tier III Italian cruisers were equipped with standard Smoke Generators, allowing them to conceal themselves amidst the heat of battle much like most destroyers in the game.

In this update, the standard Smoke Generator will be replaced with a unique version called Exhaust Smoke Generator. Unlike the regular Smoke Generator, the Exhaust Smoke Generator can make Italian cruisers 'smoke up' even at maximum speed. You can also start researching the Tier VII Amalfi cruiser - Italy's renowned cruiser featuring characteristic maximum speed, powerful 203mm guns, and long-range torpedoes - albeit slow. Overall, both Amalfi and Italian cruisers are fantastic additions to your fleet.

The Steel Redeemer campaign offers players the premium Tier VI destroyer Benham as the ultimate reward. Benham is equipped with powerful torpedoes and is known for its heroic service in the Battle of Midway, rescuing hundreds of sailors from the sinking USS Yorktown and USS Hammann. To unlock this vessel, players must complete 80 milestones in the Steel Redeemer campaign over the next 5 weeks with the Admiralty Backing feature.
Since their introduction, the Russian cruiser lines have demanded precision from players to unleash their full potential. Developers have equipped them with larger caliber guns, improved maneuverability, and faster torpedoes. Players can now inflict more damage and stay longer in battle with Russian cruisers.
The highlight of the update starting on October 19th is the Halloween Rust 'n' Rumble event. Prepare for team-based battles in a post-apocalyptic world. As always, playing pays off. In Rust 'n' Rumble battles, there are no hiding spots. Players must utilize the selected cruiser's strengths in battles surrounded by torpedoes and gunfire. After each battle, players will receive Tabz, a special currency to upgrade event ships and unlock the Rust 'n' Rumble Commander. With enough Tabz, players can even add the Tier VI Russian premium destroyer Ognevoi to their ship collection.
Additionally, there are some other minor improvements. Most notably, the Sector Alert feature allows players to mark an area on the map for their teammates. This will help in clearer communication and attract attention when changing tactical situations in battle.
