Last month, Huawei launched MateBook 16s and MateBook D16 laptops in China. The company officially announces two new laptop models globally, starting with Europe.

Two new laptop models were introduced at a launch event held in Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately, the brand has not yet announced the prices and availability of the two products.

MateBook 16s

Regarding the MateBook 16s, the device features a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness, and sRGB color gamut.

The new Mate device is configured with the 12th generation Intel Core H processor. The base configuration includes the Intel i5-12500H, while the highest configuration is equipped with i9-12900H. The MateBook 16s features integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. Additionally, it comes with 16 GB of dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The product boasts an 84 Wh battery and comes with a 135 W charger in the retail box.

MateBook D16

The MateBook D16 features a 16-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a maximum brightness of 300 nits, achieving 100% sRGB color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 1200:1.

The MateBook D16 is also configured with two processors - Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H, both with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. The device comes with 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512 GB of NVMe PCIe storage, along with a 60 Wh battery and a 65W charger included in the retail box.
