It's been a while since we last met, Phuong Anh. I wonder if you still remember me; you'll probably be surprised to receive this letter. As for me, I always remember and am impressed by a girl with long, silky hair and your radiant smile. I'm Anh Thu, and we met during the traffic safety competition organized by Hoa Hoc Tro newspaper. I'm passionate about exploring the cultural diversity of the Vietnamese people. Today, I'm writing this letter to you in the hope that we can exchange our hobbies and the cultural aspects of the regions we are living in. Are you willing to join me?
I'll introduce you to a bit about the people from my homeland in Central Vietnam. Central Vietnamese people are diligent, compassionate, and resilient. Despite the harsh weather conditions, their tough environment has molded them into robust and determined individuals. They are genuine, kind, not overly concerned with fashion and lifestyle; they live frugally and know how to manage their expenses. People in the Central region are also forward-thinking, and the motto 'eat well, dress durably' is a characteristic feature of their lifestyle. My hometown is famous for poetic songs of Nghệ Tĩnh, traditional music of the Hue royal court, breathtaking landscapes like Phong Nha - Ke Bang, one of the most beautiful caves in the world, Ba Na Hill - the path to heavenly scenes, the romantic Perfume River, and the ancient town of Hoi An. It's also the birthplace of many great figures in our country like Uncle Ho, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and more. How about in Phuong Anh's hometown? What makes the people and the way of life there special? Is there anything you find different in your Central homeland? Does it rain a lot in the South? What are some beautiful tourist destinations in your area? Let's exchange to learn more about each other. Remember to write me back when you receive this letter. I believe that through these letters, we will become even closer and more connected.
