- Introduction (The charming new mortar appears like a dream, sitting gracefully in the empty space of the house) Introduction of the object being described: the mortar.
- Conclusion (The mortar, like the utensils that have lived with me... watching every step I take...) Ending the essay: Intimate connection between the little friend and the items at home, including the new mortar.
c. The opening is similar to the direct opening, and the closing is similar to the extended closing in the narrative essay we studied.
d. The sequence of the descriptive body part of the mortar
The rim → the clothing → two ears → ear holes: the mortar's grinding teeth → wood chips → grinding head → pin → tethering string tied to the grinding head.
- Grinding rice with joy. The sound of the mortar echoes throughout the neighborhood.
