Dear honorable soldiers!
Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Hoang Nguyen Quoc Duy, a 6th-grade student from THCS Thach Hoa - Tuyen Hoa - Quang Binh. Just finished my studies today, I saw the TV program 'We Are Soldiers,' prompting me to pick up my pen and write a letter to you. At the beginning of this letter, I extend my wishes for good health, caring inquiries, and hope that you always fulfill your assigned missions.
Dear soldiers!
Currently, in my hometown, winter has arrived, and it's a bit chilly. How are you all doing out there? Is the work challenging? I hope you all take care of your health to successfully complete your missions, which brings joy to me.
I'm doing well here, and now it's time for the first semester exams, so there's a lot of studying to do. This year, we have a new school, so we study and play very comfortably. We will always strive to excel in our studies to bring joy to our parents, teachers, and also to you. It's quite late now, so I'll stop writing here. Wishing you all good health and always cheerful. See you next time.

Hanoi, Date: .... Month: .... Year: ....
Dear soldiers on Truong Sa Archipelago!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ha Nguyen Phuong Linh, just turned 12 this year, studying in 6th grade at THCS Thach Hoa School, Thach Hoa Commune, Tuyen Hoa District, Quang Binh Province. How are you all doing, dear soldiers? While you are safeguarding the country's islands amidst the sun and wind, I deeply admire and miss you. Please stay strong, stand firm to protect Truong Sa - an integral part of the S-shaped country.
As the 22nd of December approaches, I remember each day going to school, listening to the teacher's lectures, expressing our gratitude to you, the soldiers, who tirelessly guard Truong Sa Archipelago day and night. Through lectures in class, on TV, and in the media, all praise the courage and perseverance of the soldiers on Truong Sa Archipelago, protecting a vital part of Vietnam from countries eyeing the abundant resources and precious natural treasures in the Truong Sa Archipelago. Every day at school, I look up at the S-shaped map, and it seems that Truong Sa has appeared before my eyes, where you soldiers are guarding the islands amidst the roaring waves. Thinking of you enduring the sun and wind to protect Truong Sa, my gratitude knows no bounds.
You have safeguarded peace for the homeland, preventing invasions, allowing us, the younger generation, to sit under the roof of a peaceful socialist society like today. I promise to fulfill the duties of a student, to be well-behaved and studious. In the future, I aim to become a responsible citizen, much like you soldiers, dedicating all my strength to build and protect our increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland. To affirm that Truong Sa Archipelago belongs to the territory of Vietnam.
Respectful child of yours!

Dear naval soldiers!
Dear naval soldiers, greetings! First of all, I wish you all good health and send you the very best. I hope this small letter of mine, along with the seagulls, will fly to the sacred archipelagos of our country, reaching all of you and connecting the hearts of people who have never met, like you and me.
Yes, dear soldiers, I am Dao Phuong Anh, a 7th-grade student at Ai Mo Middle School. I have never set foot on the sacred islands of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa that you guard day and night. I know that place has sunshine, wind, and the taste of the sea that I love so much. Perhaps that's why I have a special love for each sea region in my homeland. I love the salty taste of sea breezes, the roaring waves, both fierce and gentle, the sails billowing in the wind, and I love the navy uniforms of all of you.
What I know about you is only from newspapers, TV, or stories told by teachers. Through that, I have understood the silent sacrifices of you, the heroes in distant seas. You are not only brave fighters, not only silently sacrificing but also rising above all difficulties, finding optimism in challenges. Beloved soldiers, on behalf of the special children, I thank you very much. I hope you continue to strive, fight, and guard the beautiful seas of our homeland. I promise to study well, be obedient, and listen to my grandparents, parents, and teachers to help build a beautiful and prosperous Vietnam with the navy soldiers. Wishing you strength and full of happiness!
Dear Uncle's soldiers!
Dao Phuong Anh
Short and sweet letter to Uncle Soldier
4. Letter to Our Soldiers, Sample 4:
Hanoi, Date: .... Month: .... Year: ....
My name is Victory, a high school student in the heart of Hanoi.
Firstly, I wish you all good health, as with health, all tasks can be done well, right?
Surely you are not surprised to receive a letter from me, even though you don't know who I am. Because, before me, there must have been many others writing letters to you. All of us just want to share a part of the hardships, difficulties, and dangers that you go through day and night to firmly protect the country's borders, especially in this boiling time.
Dear soldiers, although I have never been to Truong Sa, Hoang Sa, like many other Vietnamese, these days I cannot help but pay attention to the situation in the East Sea, especially since China placed the Haidong-981 drilling rig in Vietnam's continental shelf. We are very upset about this. Paracel and Spratly Islands have been recorded in the proof documents for thousands of years, proving that they belong to Vietnam, not a 'desert island' as China thinks. Yet... I am truly worried, although I know I can't help much. But I always believe in the victory of justice, always believe in the patriotic spirit of our nation, and especially trust in the courage and determination of all of you in the fight. You have not hesitated to leave your family, leave your homeland to come to a distant and challenging sea. I know that your life is lacking in material things, hardships, and dangers, but you still try to protect the country's sovereignty. We believe that you will protect the islands to the end, not allowing anyone to encroach on what belongs to the sacred 'S' shape of our nation.
