With the enhanced storage, the new Xbox Series S allows users to store more games without the need for frequent deletions when installing new ones.
Microsoft has just launched an upgraded version for Xbox Series S, promising an even better gaming experience for gamers. Priced at $350, users will receive storage capacity of up to 1TB, double that of the predecessor's 512GB, along with the addition of the brand-new 'Carbon Black' color.
Introducing the New Xbox Series SPreviously, with only 512GB, users could hardly store three or four AAA titles simultaneously, as most of these games consume over 100GB. With the 1TB hard drive on the new version, you can store about seven or eight AAA titles, along with some smaller indie games, making it less of a hassle when deciding which games to delete or whether to buy an external hard drive.

This device lacks an optical drive and is designed for lower resolutions (1080p or 1440p), as opposed to 4K like Series X. However, the latest model of Series S is gradually narrowing this gap, at least in terms of storage capacity.
