Xiaomi 14 series to have robust, premium titanium frameIn a recent post, renowned leaker Digital Chat Station disclosed that many high-end phones will adopt titanium alloy frames by the end of this year. Xiaomi is believed to be one of the brands specifically using titanium alloy for the frames of the Xiaomi 14 series.
This information aligns with a post on weibo by Ice Universe earlier this month, stating that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will be the first Android smartphone with a titanium alloy frame.
For those unfamiliar, titanium alloy is a durable and lightweight material commonly used in aerospace and defense applications. It also possesses corrosion and abrasion resistance. Therefore, it is expected to be a highly anticipated improvement for smartphones.
The Xiaomi 14 series is also expected to utilize the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and may be launched in early November.
