Recently, real-life images of this device have surfaced online. Now, a fresh source has shared some intriguing design-related news about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra might feature an under-display cameraA new report from GSMChina suggests that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could come with an under-display camera. It appears that there might be two variants of the phone - one with this under-display camera and another with a standard selfie camera.
The variant housing the standard camera is rumored to be codenamed 'aurora' and 'aurorapro', while the model sporting the under-display camera is codenamed 'Xiaomi Suiren'. Interestingly, a device by this name was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Despite speculation that this device is the upcoming Xiaomi MIX 5, recent reports indicate it's actually the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The phone has scored 2,336 and 6,837 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
Similarly, according to previous reports from leaker Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a 50MP main sensor (Sony LYT 900 with OIS support) with a variable aperture. The phone will also come with a 50MP telephoto lens, another 50MP periscope lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Leaks also reveal that this smartphone will have a titanium frame, two-way satellite communication feature, and a 5,180 mAh battery with support for wired 90W fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging.
