Initially, this product line will consist of 2 models: Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, with Xiaomi 14 Ultra slated for early next year. Today, a source shared intriguing new details regarding the 'Ultra' variant.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra to boast a powerhouse camera system.As per Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a primary camera utilizing the new Sony LYT900 sensor measuring 1 inch. This marks a significant improvement over the IMX9898 found in Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The main camera will be accompanied by three additional 50MP sensors. Two of these will be integrated with 3x and 5x zoom lenses, while the remaining camera will feature an ultra-wide lens. The 3x camera will support telephoto macro, similar to Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Furthermore, DCS mentioned that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the front, it will feature a 2K curved display with a single punch-hole in the center. The curvature of the screen on all 4 edges will be kept minimal. Finally, the cluster of 4 rear cameras will be arranged in a circular fashion, similar to the two previous generations.
