Xiaomi's Global Unveiling of HyperOS on the Horizon

Now, Xiaomi has initiated the revelation of HyperOS in India, signaling the company's preparation to introduce its new user interface globally, replacing MIUI.

Xiaomi utilizes the X social network (formerly Twitter) to announce the imminent introduction of HyperOS in India. The brand will reveal more detailed information in the coming days. Although the specific deployment schedule and the list of eligible devices are yet to be disclosed, the teaser confirms the potential debut of HyperOS in this country. Xiaomi may disclose detailed information about this user interface at the Redmi Note 13 launch event on January 4. There is a possibility that these phones will come pre-installed with HyperOS in India.

It is known that Xiaomi is teasing the arrival of HyperOS in India after the company officially lists their global phones to be updated with the new user interface. Over 80 Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices are expected to receive the HyperOS update in the first quarter of 2024.

HyperOS is built on Linux and Xiaomi's self-developed Vela system. It features a relatively lightweight design and integrates AI functionalities, along with performance and security enhancements. The new user interface provides an elegant control center, greater customization options, a dedicated TEE security system, collaboration across multiple devices, and AI features such as image search and artistic creation.
