CyberDog 2 is a four-legged robot dog, but Xiaomi has made significant changes to its design, giving it a more unique appearance than its predecessor.
Introducing Xiaomi's CyberDog 2 robotWhile the original CyberDog was designed to resemble Boston Dynamics' Spot, CyberDog 2 has a more intriguing look. It has been completely redesigned to resemble a Doberman, with two small ears on either side of its head, making it look more like a real dog than the previous generation.
CyberDog 2 is also much smaller and lighter than its predecessor. It weighs only 8.9 kg and stands 36.7 cm tall. Xiaomi claims their dog can even stand on one leg while placed on a beanbag without damaging it.
Xiaomi CyberDog 2 boasts numerous enhancements compared to its predecessorXiaomi has enhanced the mobility of its CyberDog 2 robot with self-developed CyberGear transmission systems. These transmissions make the robot more agile and capable of performing complex maneuvers, such as continuous somersaults and standing up when falling.
CyberDog 2 also features a system utilizing 19 sensors dedicated to vision, touch, and hearing. It is equipped with RGB, AI-assisted interactive cameras, four ToF sensors, LiDAR sensor, depth camera, ultrasonic sensor, fisheye lens sensor, force sensor, and two Ultra Wide Band sensors. It also has four microphones and is compatible with Xiaomi's AI voice algorithm.
Moreover, Xiaomi has emphasized the intelligence capability of CyberDog 2, thanks to the NX processor and two coprocessors, capable of achieving up to 21 TOPS computing power. In terms of price, it is priced at 12,999 Chinese yuan, equivalent to about 42.66 million Vietnamese dong.
