Redmi Note 7 was introduced in early January in China and is the first smartphone of Redmi as an independent brand, separating from its parent company Xiaomi. After the durability marketing campaign, it appears Redmi is conducting another campaign to prove that this phone can transcend the ordinary.
Today, Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, posted a new video on the social media platform Weibo, showcasing the process of launching three Redmi Note 7 devices into space using weather balloons. These devices were securely fastened to a frame for protection, ascending to 30km altitude and traversing the atmospheric layer with a temperature of -60 degrees Celsius.
Redmi Note 7 remains one of the most bang-for-the-buck smartphones in the current mid-range segment. It boasts powerful hardware with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, coupled with a premium glass back design and a stunning gradient effect.
