Yang Bay is currently in festival season, attracting a bustling crowd of domestic and international tourists to this lush green forest - white waterfall tourist area.
Explore Yang Bay's Beauty Day by Day in Nha Trang
Located approximately 45km from Nha Trang City, Yang Bay is situated amidst a vast valley spanning 570 hectares at an altitude of 100m above sea level, in Khanh Vinh district (Khanh Hoa). Yang Bay entices visitors with the pristine charm of the sprawling forests, verdant meadows, and cascading waterfalls. According to the Raglai people, Yang Bay translates to 'sky waterfall'.
Immerse Yourself in Nature
This year's festival season sees Yang Bay introducing new accommodation areas and offerings. Visitors will arrive at Yang Bay in the late afternoon, staying in comfortable accommodation rooms. After dinner, guests will be led by the staff to fish, catch fish, set eel traps, crab traps, and personally prepare rustic dishes from the catch. By the crackling fire, guests will enjoy delicious meals, drink rice wine, and sing along amidst the vast wilderness.
This area was originally pristine forest with fresh air. Since 2003, Yang Bay has been transferred to Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) for management and exploitation. Upon receiving it, Yang Bay was just a forest with untouched waterfalls. Khatoco has successfully transformed this place into an eco-tourism area. Along with the pristine forests, Yang Bay has planted cherry blossom forests, orchid gardens, sunflower gardens, bird gardens... In addition to the dazzling waterfalls resembling fairy dresses, Yang Bay also features small elongated lakes winding under the forest canopy.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Truong - Deputy Director of Yang Bay Tourist Park - stated that in preparation for welcoming guests to the festival season, the unit has revamped the green areas within the tourist area, added more landscapes with specific themes for tourists to photograph, built additional suspension bridges, and adjusted pathways. “We are continually making Yang Bay greener, more beautiful, so that visitors can truly immerse themselves in nature to the fullest extent,” Mr. Truong shared.
Unique Games
Now is the beginning of the rainy season in the Central Highlands region. The forests in Yang Bay are bursting with greenery, and trees and grass are flaunting their colors to welcome tourists. Upon entering the park gate, tourists will be greeted by clowns performing and colorful Mickey Mouse characters.

Next, visitors will be invited onto electric cars passing through flower gardens, small forests to reach tourist attractions: sacred wood, Ho Cho waterfall, Yang Bay waterfall... full of legends. Especially, visitors can participate in many unique games such as: ostrich riding, crocodile fishing, tightrope walking, pole jumping, archery, swinging, cockfighting, pig racing, fish massage, feeding milk bottles to fish...

These days, many foreign tourist groups come to Yang Bay. Many guests are very excited about the natural scenery here. “This is a very worthwhile place to visit. We immerse ourselves in the forests, waterfalls, with cheerful and hospitable tour guides,” Ms. Ekaterina Jay (22 years old, from Russia) shared.
Yang Bay is blossoming with each festival season, becoming more beautiful every day with new constructions. “In the near future, Yang Bay will continue to invest in building mineral bath areas, mud baths, and high-end resorts to better serve tourists,” said Mr. Vo Khoi Minh, Director of Yang Bay Tourist Park.
