No need for Dalat or Moc Chau anymore. The youth of Hanoi can now experience strawberry picking right here in the capital city with these juicy strawberries.
Young Hanoians joyfully pick strawberries amidst the cherry blossom village of Nhat Tan

Amidst the vibrant cherry blossoms in Nhat Tan village, Tay Ho district (Hanoi), a 3,000 m² strawberry garden has started bearing fruit, attracting the attention of numerous locals, especially young people who come to check-in and experience the exciting feeling of witnessing these sweet strawberries right in the heart of Hanoi.

It is known that the strawberries here are directly transported from Moc Chau and have only been experimentally planted for 2 months. The strawberry garden is divided into 3 areas: outdoor cultivation area, greenhouse area (1000 m²), and exhibition area for selling ornamental strawberries.

At present, strawberries are only grown to serve visitors. It is expected that a year from now, Hanoians will be able to pick strawberries right in the heart of Hanoi.
Not only stopping at an area of 3000 m², Mr. Nguyen An Phuoc (sales manager) stated: “In the near future, we will endeavor to expand the area to 10,000 m², including a dairy cow farming area to best serve the needs of the people”.
Previously, his strawberry growing model in Moc Chau had attracted great interest from tourists mainly coming from Hanoi. This very reason has prompted him to bring strawberries to the capital city.

“Due to the somewhat harsh weather conditions in Hanoi compared to those in Moc Chau, strawberry plants are more prone to pests and diseases and require more frequent care, but overall, it is still possible to successfully grow strawberries in Hanoi,” said Mr. Vu Van Luc, a strawberry care technician.
Ms. Do Linh (Van Phuc, Ha Dong) expressed great excitement when taking photos with strawberries right in Hanoi: “This is the first time I've seen such beautiful strawberries here in Hanoi, I'm very excited. However, if the garden could grow taller strawberries like in a greenhouse, tourists would find it easier to take photos.”

The strawberry garden will be open to visitors for free until Tet holiday. When you come here, you not only experience strawberries in the heart of Hanoi but also can take home beautiful pots of strawberries for only 30,000 VND/pot.
Nowadays, when mentioning Tan Japanese cherry blossom village, not only cherry blossoms, but also the extensive strawberry garden makes tourists' hearts flutter.
