The dream-hugging apprentice aspires to be a 'master craftsman'
Lộc Fuho, whose real name is Phạm Văn Lộc, is known as the 'wandering commentator' on Facebook with humorous and adorable content revolving around life, especially the concern of not having a girlfriend in 2018. At that time, Lộc Fuho was still just a young man doing apprentice work and frequently logging into Facebook when he had free time.
The apprentice born in 1994 has a relatively difficult family life. Lộc's mother is a widow, but she passed away early, leaving behind two children to earn a living and protect each other. Lộc and his younger sister live in a half-finished house.
In 2018, his dilapidated house was swept away by a storm. But due to not having money to repay debts, he and his younger sister still had to huddle together on a small narrow bed to avoid the rain and cold in the house without a roof. Every day, he worked as an apprentice from morning till night with a wage of about 300,000 VND per day.
Lộc Fuho continues to attract attention when a construction company awards him a certificate... as a master craftsman after a long time of just being an apprentice. He happily stands on stage, receives the honorary certificate and a few small gifts such as tools needed for work like a trowel, hammer, measuring tape... He also solemnly hangs the certificate on the wall to admire every day.

Famous streamer... at lightning speed
In July 2020, Lộc Fuho launched his own YouTube channel with content revolving around daily life, cooking, and taking care of his wife. Shortly after, he became known for his livestream series teaching apprentices and gained another nickname, 'Master Lộc'.
Lộc's videos are idolized with simple content, not complicated, only 'teaching' how to mix mortar, cement... the basic steps of a construction worker but receive immense interaction.
Especially, in the livestream on the evening of August 21, 2021, Lộc Fuho's Fanpage account attracted over 257K viewers, instantly becoming the number 1 streamer in Vietnam in terms of livestream viewership.
This livestream video now has over 346K reactions, 94K comments, and over 82K shares, a tremendous number that few can achieve in Vietnam. This figure has surpassed the records of other livestreams by a female streamer on the Facebook platform or Độ Mixi on the YouTube platform.
Not only teaching online domestically, Lộc Fuho also 'recruits' foreign students. On his fanpage, the young man has uploaded a video titled: 'Teaching football superstar Messi how to be an apprentice correctly'.
The humorous YouTuber claims himself as a 'teacher', calls the audience 'students', and says: 'Have you seen it? Football player Messi is so wealthy yet still learning the apprentice trade from me'. The internet sensation in his 20s asserts that the football superstar is learning the apprentice trade for future retirement, to have a job and earn money. 'Do you think this profession has a future?', Lộc Fuho jokingly expresses.
In addition, he points out that the male footballer made mistakes when holding the trowel and building parallel courses (a technique in apprentice work). In this way, the builder will not have force to push the mortar, and the wall is not solid. Lộc Fuho demonstrates the correct actions for the audience to see. 'Whoever can get Messi to learn the trade from me, I'll reward them with 50 bags of cement', Lộc Fuho jokes.
Rising up in rank after just six months on YouTube
Officially launching his YouTube channel in July 2019, in just over half a year, the life of Vietnam's hottest apprentice has already seen many changes, leaving those who knew Lộc astonished.
In a video shared back in 2020, Lộc excitedly shared with the online community as he embarked on rebuilding the makeshift house he and his younger sister had been living in for so long. After time spent on YouTube as well as savings from his apprentice work, he had enough money to fulfill his dream.
Sharing about this, the YouTuber expressed endless gratitude to the online community as his uploaded clips all garnered millions of views and a lot of interaction... providing stable income for Lộc as a YouTube apprentice.
He said: 'I thank everyone for supporting me so I could have money to repair the house. Actually, if I continued working as an apprentice, I would never have extra. Doing YouTube gave me extra to fix the house, I was so happy I couldn't sleep'.
Not only renovating the house, the income from being a YouTuber allowed him to buy a new car. In March 2022, Lộc Fuho shared pictures of himself and his wife receiving a car. It's known that the family bought this car worth 697 million VND, a Mitsubishi Xpander Cross.
In 2021, Lộc once shared that thanks to his 'fame', his highest monthly income even reached 200 million VND. His average monthly income is about 40-50 million VND. After one month of starting his YouTube channel, he enabled monetization. Therefore, he was able to buy many expensive items or renovate the house.
However, he also admits that the amount earned has to be spent quite a lot on hiring assistants for video shooting or other investment costs. This amount can reach hundreds of million VND.
Besides earning money from YouTube, with a personal Facebook page with over 1 million followers, he can receive advertising contracts or PR posts, so the income doesn't just stop at tens of million VND per month. On the other hand, we can't overlook the income from the apprentice trade - which has brought him to where he is today. In early 2023, on his personal Facebook page, he drew attention by announcing his promotion to director of a construction-related company. Under the shared image, many netizens praised him as the 'most successful apprentice in Vietnam'.
Especially recently, this YouTuber publicly disclosed the amount earned from this platform in January 2023, shocking many people. Accordingly, Lộc Fuho publicly revealed a statistic with $652 (about 15 million VND) in January 2023.
In a previous video, he shared that in 4 years of being on YouTube, he managed to save up 1.6 billion VND. He believes that the monthly income from YouTube is not fixed but helps Lộc afford a living.
