Xiao Diep, a young teacher with nearly 2 years of teaching experience, currently teaches at a primary school in Fujian province (China) as both a pre-primary school teacher and a social studies teacher. With her unique collection of teaching outfits, Xiao Diep has taken the internet by storm in the populous nation, particularly on the Douyin (China's TikTok) and Xiaohongshu platforms.
Although she is a teacher, Xiao Diep is also passionate about fashion, firmly believing that dressing well is a form of respect towards her students and her profession. Xiao Diep doesn’t hesitate to invest considerable effort into her classroom attire. While her outfits may not be extravagant, her knack for coordinating clothing pieces makes each ensemble visually appealing and eye-catching.

“Being a great teacher doesn’t mean sacrificing style and preparation. Everyone has the right to appreciate beauty and enhance it. I often receive questions about whether my focus on attire distracts students, and I can confidently say it doesn’t. Let’s not judge things with narrow perspectives. Every student in my class is diligent and eager to learn. I can directly sense their thirst for knowledge and their serious attitude,” shares Teacher Xiao Diep.
The young teacher further explains that she often records videos directly in class using a tripod, which doesn’t disrupt normal teaching. She records the entire lesson, then captures the screen and shares it on her personal page. Recording these teaching videos helps her observe real-time teaching situations, thereby improving her teaching quality. Additionally, reviewing recorded videos helps her enhance her teaching style and posture.
