YouTube Announcement: Display of Video Thumbnails

If you've activated notifications for specific YouTube channels, you might have noticed that they don't provide much information for users. The good news is that YouTube notifications will soon feature video thumbnails. This feature is currently undergoing A/B testing and will be available to users shortly.

In reality, YouTube notifications usually display only the video title and channel (unless users expand the notification). However, ultimately, YouTube notifications will also show video thumbnails.

In the screenshot below, you can see a notification displaying the video thumbnail on the right side. The video title no longer contains 'new video from'.

This feature is currently undergoing A/B testing. We hope the feature will be released to all users soon.
