YouTube plans to 'eradicate at the root' ad-blocking software through a new policy. Users who prefer an ad-free experience will need to subscribe to YouTube Premium.
YouTube, a widely used video platform, hosts an array of content daily. While YouTube Premium targets users seeking an ad-free experience, some users turn to third-party ad-blocking software for assistance.

Just a few months ago, YouTube surprised users with announcements of strong measures against ad-blocker software. Free users receive warnings that unlicensed ad-blockers are not permitted on YouTube. Recently, they have intensified warnings to users employing ad-blocking software with a new policy.
A Reddit user shared that a pop-up warning, marked with white squares numbered from 1 to 3, appears, indicating the remaining number of videos before YouTube stops playback. To continue watching, users must disable ad-blocking software. Below are two options: allow YouTube ads or subscribe to YouTube Premium.

YouTube's action demonstrates determination to minimize fraudulent activities. A user mentioned that uBlock Origin seems unaffected for now. However, YouTube is resolute in completely eliminating ad-blocking software.
