Currently, Twitter allows users to share their YouTube activities by accessing YouTube Settings => Connected apps => Share your public activity to Twitter. However, users can alternatively share YouTube videos directly on social media through the Share button.
According to The Star's report, users will see the Share option for social media platforms immediately after successfully uploading a new video.
Users can download the YouTube app for their devices using the link below
- For Android devices: Youtube for Android
- For iOS devices: Youtube for iPhone
However, users can still add and paste video links on their YouTube channel on social media accounts and share videos from various pages.
Furthermore, YouTube also states that the new update will not impact items already shared on Twitter before January 31, meaning old posts will still be intact on Twitter.

Quoting the announcement on the YouTube support page: 'Previously, we introduced the option to automatically publicly post users' YouTube activities on social networks, including Twitter and Google+. However, because we noticed that users sharing their activities on social media would be better, users can customize messages more and take advantage of social media features, such as @mentions. Basically, this provides users and their followers with a better experience than automatic posts.'
