One of the most annoying aspects of watching YouTube videos is trying to find the right moment for specific content, especially in longer videos. Starting today, YouTube officially launches the new 'Chapters' feature, allowing video creators to embed time stamps directly into the video progress bar.
YouTube Enhances Video Navigation with the Addition of 'Chapters'

Viewers can click on the chapters to navigate to a specific part of the video and revisit video clips more conveniently than using the fast-forward and rewind functions. The chapters are located below the video player and display time stamps from the video description. This is an optional feature, and chapters will only appear if the video creator includes them. Creators can only use chapters if the first chapter starts from 0:00, the video has at least 3 time stamps or chapters, and one chapter must last at least 10 seconds.
This 'Chapters' feature is part of a series of new developments from YouTube, such as the bedtime reminder feature. Additionally, you can still use various methods to download YouTube videos on your phone for viewing at different times. Among these methods, using YouTube Go to download YouTube videos is more popular than ever.
