Previously on the Android version of YouTube, we were updated with the autoplay feature for the homepage. Alongside this new autoplay feature for the YouTube homepage, we now have another fresh feature called 'Reels,' similar to Snapchat's Stories.
Snapchat introduced the Stories feature back in 2013, and recently, this feature has been chosen and integrated by social media giants such as Facebook, Instagram, Medium, and even Match.com on their applications.
For YouTube, Reels expand the company's community features. To set up Reels alongside other Stories formats, YouTube provides 'creator-focused features' such as company stickers and linking to other videos on the website.
Unlike other editing format features, users can create multiple Reels, and they will have the option that knows no bounds.
The Reels feature is currently in beta testing phase, and after experimentation, Reels will play a role in generating more content.
With the success of Stories and Snapchat in general, as well as the addition of new features, Snapchat has garnered support from teenage users - something many tech companies are striving to achieve.
'YouTube and Facebook are currently the largest social video sharing platforms. You can imagine, millions of videos are uploaded daily, and especially with YouTube and Facebook allowing users to download videos to their devices for viewing at different times, not necessarily online, there are many ways for you to download YouTube or Facebook videos to your computer or phone.'
In 2016, Instagram officially introduced their Stories feature and began to surpass Snapchat.
Regarding Instagram Stories, the company's director stated, 'Snapchat gained popularity when they added Stories to their app, however, Stories is a format and it will be widely used across different platforms.'
Snapchat is also working diligently to develop their own app. Last Wednesday, the company announced that they will release a redesigned version of Snapchat to separate friends from creators and professional brands.

Furthermore, if you frequently enjoy entertainment with YouTube videos, watching YouTube videos offline will allow us to revisit our favorite videos anywhere. The intriguing aspect of using the offline YouTube viewing feature is that you won't need an internet connection to watch these videos.
