YouTube TV stands as the most popular online television service in the market with over 5 million active subscribers as of July. Despite being nearly 6 years old, YouTube TV is just now preparing to add a time display feature to the app interface.
YouTube TV adds time display feature

Previously, there was no way to view time on YouTube TV. Instead, users had to switch to a live channel displaying the time or open a live guide to see the current time.
With the newly added feature, YouTube TV will display the time in the top left corner of the main app screen. Additionally, users can also view the time in the top right corner of the screen in the user interface while watching content.
YouTube stated that this feature is currently being rolled out on the app for TV devices, so YouTube TV users on mobile devices or browsers may not see this feature yet.

While not a major feature, this is a necessary and should-have feature from the start. With the addition of the clock display feature, users can know the exact time to not miss their favorite shows and live sports events.
