YouTubers could potentially earn $10,000 per month by creating content with YouTube Shorts tool

YouTube has just announced a new operating policy for creators, stating that they will pay creators up to $10,000 per month to create videos using the YouTube Shorts tool. YouTube plans to allocate $100 million throughout the year to implement this plan, with the first payments scheduled for this month.

However, it seems these payments won't be entirely fixed, as the amount YouTube will pay creators also depends on the popularity of the video or the number of Shorts views each month... Additionally, payments will also depend on the location of the viewer group.

YouTube also requires that videos posted on the Shorts tool must be original. Videos taken from other sources will not be eligible for payment. Currently, payments are only applicable in certain countries, including the US, UK, India, and Brazil, as well as some other regions. YouTube stated that they will soon implement plans to expand the list of regions where this payment policy applies.
