(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - Midlaner Zeka made a supremely confident statement following an impressive comeback against EDG.
In the final match of the Quarterfinals at Worlds 2022, DRX staged a remarkable comeback against EDward Gaming. Despite a tense battle earlier between Gen.G Esports (Gen.G) and DWG KIA, DRX's triumph stood out. While one side featured the reigning champions of Worlds 2021, the other was a team consistently underestimated since the start of Worlds 2022.

One of the standout players in DRX's comeback victory against EDG was Zeka. Despite it being his debut Worlds, Zeka delivered beyond expectations. Particularly in the deciding fifth game, Zeka utilized the champion Sylas and secured four consecutive solo kills against Scout - an experienced Midlaner and the reigning Worlds 2021 champion.

With stellar performances against EDG, DRX players are exuding immense confidence despite facing Gen.G next - the reigning champions of LCK Summer 2022 and strong contenders for Worlds 2022. In a recent interview with journalist Ashley Kang, Zeka showcased this confidence by stating that his performance against Scout was only at 80% of his ability.

Zeka stated: “Realizing it was an Akali versus Sylas matchup, I was confident I would come out on top. As for evaluating my performance, if we had lost, there would be nothing to say. But since we won, I believe I've only displayed 80% of my ability. The remaining 20% will be unleashed in the upcoming match”.

In the match against EDG, the DRX players had to put in immense effort to secure victory. However, the 'Green Dragons' will undoubtedly need to prepare even more meticulously to face a stronger opponent who understands them too well. The Gen.G team will certainly be more defensively oriented, making it extremely challenging for DRX to repeat their miracle if they don't truly exert themselves.
