Nobody can claim the title of 'Bug King' from the Fallen King, not even the newcomer Zeri.
Since 2021, Riot has introduced quite a few champions, including reworks, totaling nearly 10. Among them, aside from the familiar faces, most of the newly released champions are considered extremely powerful, whether in normal games, ranked, or professional matches. Notable mentions include Viego, Gwen, and a newcomer who's slowly proving to be Riot's '200 years of experience' - Zeri.

Upon release, this champion garnered countless mixed opinions. Some professional players also admit Zeri is too weak, requiring too many conditions to excel in the professional arena. A prime example is T1's Marksman - Gumayusi. Subsequently, players discovered Zeri's extremely 'OP' interaction with the Runaan's Hurricane item, prompting Riot to immediately nerf this mechanic of Zeri.

However, Riot's August - Zeri's creator - also admits that the recent adjustments were futile as Zeri still proves too strong with her 'faction-disrupting' item, Runaan's Hurricane. Recently, Riot has had to release another update to nerf this new champion before she meets the standards for appearing in upcoming professional matches.

On the other hand, Riot's August asserts that regardless of Zeri's current strength or the existence of some bugs, compared to the 'Bug King' of the League of Legends world - the Fallen King Viego, she doesn't stand a chance. And Viego is also a product of August. Remember, when the Fallen King was just released, many bugs accompanied this champion. Among them, the most famous is the bug that allowed him to one-shot all targets on the map, from outer turrets, Baron, Dragon to Viego's own Nexus.

It's evident that League of Legends continues to release new champions regularly, signaling healthy game development. However, the arrival of these champions often brings along numerous bugs, glitches, or excessive power compared to others, resulting in somewhat uncomfortable experiences for the gaming community.
