The strength of the upcoming champion Zeri has left the League of Legends community astonished.
Just days ago, Riot unveiled details about the appearance and abilities of the new champion Zeri - the next addition to League of Legends as a Marksman. Originating from Zaun, Zeri's dynamic abilities revolve around electric rays. In terms of appearance, Zeri is relatively young, comparable in age to champions like Ekko, Jinx, and Vi - all Zaun natives who have appeared before.

Notably, Zeri excels in high mobility, particularly with her ultimate ability R - Electric Apex. This ability grants Zeri 3 Overload stacks for each hit on an enemy, along with 2% movement speed per stack, lasting for 6 seconds. Continuous attacks extend stack duration and add extra stacks, transforming Zeri into a formidable high-speed threat.

In reality, this mechanism turns Zeri into a champion with an exceptionally powerful speed-hack in League of Legends in the near future. In a typical skirmish lasting about 15 - 20 seconds or even longer, including the time to initiate the fight, Zeri can accumulate Overload stacks continuously, achieving an incredibly high movement speed. According to Vandiril, a renowned bug explorer in the League of Legends community, at nearly 7k Overload stacks, Zeri can traverse from one main base to another in just 0.3 seconds.
Certainly, executing this 'speed hack' can only be done in PBE, as in actual matches, it will be challenging for Zeri to comfortably unleash her abilities to accumulate Overload as much as she can. However, increasing the stack count beyond 10 is entirely normal in skirmishes. Perhaps, at a moderate level, Zeri could have boosted her movement speed many times faster than ordinary champions.
In the upcoming period, the new champion from Zaun will officially make her presence on Summoner's Rift, and undoubtedly, she will shake up the League of Legends arena, both in rank and tournaments, with her 'overpowered' skill set.
